CPL to revamp website for human rights lawyers | 07 Feb 2012
CPL has been appointed to carry out a major revamp of the website of the Death Penalty Project (DPP), a London-based organisation that works to promote the human rights of those facing the death penalty.

The DPP operates in a range of countries that come under UK jurisdiction, where the death penalty is still enforced. Thanks to its work, the mandatory death penalty has been abolished in 10 Commonwealth Caribbean countries, as well as in Uganda, Kenya and Malawi. The lives of hundreds of prisoners facing execution have been saved as a result.
As well as refreshing and rewriting much of the content on the DPP’s site, CPL will give it a completely new look, building on our work in 2011 when we produced a major five-year report for the DPP, which was launched at the House of Lords by Keir Starmer QC, Director of Public Prosecutions.
