Double triumph for CPL at international awards | 24 Nov 2011
CPL staff are celebrating after we scooped two awards at a major international awards ceremony on Wednesday 23rd November.
CPL’s work for Darley Stud Management and Molson Coors emerged triumphant in the Association of Publishing Agencies’ International Content Marketing Awards 2011, held on Wednesday 23 November in London.
The four annual bloodstock catalogues for Darley – produced for their markets in Europe, the United States, Australia and Japan – won the Specialist Communication category, beating entries for Tesco, Boden and Knight Frank, among others.
The judges, made up of senior international communication and marketing experts, praised the design, detail and editorial effort that goes into the Darley catalogues. ‘There’s a practical substance to this publication that’s genuinely unique,’ said the judges. ‘It’s incredibly clear with striking typography and a global appeal.’
Meanwhile, Cheers magazine, produced by CPL for Molson Coors Brewing Company, was voted best internal communication, ahead of 10 other shortlisted titles. ‘From a design perspective, this really stood out, with fantastic creativity from cover to cover. It really draws the reader into its world. If you were an employee receiving this magazine, you would feel immensely proud of it.’
CPL managing director Mike Sewell is delighted at this recognition for the agency’s work: ‘These two wins are another reminder of the high quality work that CPL is turning out on a daily basis.’
