It’s a team game

We were established in 1996 by two senior Fleet Street professionals and remain an agency that is shaped and driven by high journalistic standards.

A high proportion of the 25 people based at our Cambridge offices boast backgrounds in national magazines, newspapers and London-based publishing agencies. Many have moved to us from jobs in London and have found in CPL that relative rarity: an agency based outside London that matches and often exceeds the standards set by its counterparts in the capital.

While most of our work is carried out in-house by our team of journalists, graphic designers and digital publishing experts, we are supported by a network of freelancers – writers, photographers, illustrators, web programmers – so we can always assemble the right team for the job.

Of course, producing great work is a team game. Alongside our clients’ need for accomplished professional expertise, they also need to feel happy working alongside a team that puts them first.
