Another high-quality contract win for CPL

CPL has fought off competition from a number of agencies to land a major contract with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).

Following a competitive tender process, CPL has been appointed to create and publish content across a range of CQI channels, including the features and thought leadership sections of its website  and the quarterly members’ magazine Quality World. CPL will also start selling advertising on behalf of CQI from December.

The CQI is the professional body for experts in improving product, project and service quality. With 18,000 members in 100 countries, it is the partner of choice for quality management practitioners and, through its International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) certification, for systems audit professionals.

It’s the second major publishing contract secured by CPL in the past few months, coming after the agency’s appointment to deliver the magazine for the Institute of Asset Management

CPL presented a compelling case for why and how their experience, expertise and skills would benefit us

CPL managing director Mike Sewell said: “We are delighted to add another influential professional membership body to our growing client list. We are already creating regular online content and are pleased to have worked with CQI on our first issue of Quality World. With our media sales team also getting involved soon, we look forward to a long and productive partnership.”

Tracy Tyley, content manager at CQI, added: “Having taken the decision earlier this year to outsource some elements of our content and publishing operation, we went through a rigorous tender process, receiving proposals and presentations from a number of agencies.

“CPL not only presented a compelling case for why and how their experience, expertise and skills would benefit us, the team also came across as being the right cultural fit for CQI. We look forward to building a strong partnership with CPL as we review and evolve our content offer to ensure it meets the needs of our members and other stakeholders.”
