CPL creates and delivers vital social care recruitment project

Like many local authorities up and down the country, Cambridgeshire County Council has a pressing need to attract new people to work in its adult social care team.

It appointed CPL to devise, create and deliver an ambitious marketing programme to recruit dozens of new employees for its specialist reablement service, which helps people regain their independence at home after a hospital stay.

The See the difference campaign is currently being rolled out across the county and includes digital, radio, press and outdoor advertising channels.

James Gemmell, transformation manager at Cambridgeshire County Council, said: “We are pleased to have selected CPL as our partner. The team's ideas, approach and expertise in content marketing are already proving to be a great benefit for us.”

Richard Walters, director – commercial for CPL, said: “Attracting more people to work in the adult social care sector is a top government priority, at both national and local level. And we are really excited to be working with our local authority to help address the need in Cambridgeshire.”

He added: “One of CPL’s priorities for 2018 was to win more business in the Cambridge and East Anglia area, and this is the third such project win this year, following hard on the heels of our appointment to deliver projects for Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute and the Cambridge Association of Architects.”
