International award for care worker recruitment campaign

CPL’s creative work on a local authority’s recruitment marketing campaign picked up a deserved award at the 2021 International Content Marketing Awards.

Our creative campaign to recruit care workers was launched on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council at the start of the year and, in just eight weeks, generated more than 200 responses from potential candidates.

The campaign, Be a careworker, won bronze at November’s virtual ceremony in the ‘Best specialist’ category.

The International Content Marketing awards, run by the Content Marketing Association (CMA), sees agencies and brands from across the world offer up examples of their best work from the past 12 months for judgement by some of the industry’s biggest names.

It was the most competitive year to date for the awards, with a record-breaking number of submissions entered.

CPL was also shortlisted in two other categories: ‘Best always-on’ for our work on the Great British Bonus and ‘Best medium-sized agency’.
