The message behind CPL’s new promotional campaign works in two main ways for me.
First and foremost, it highlights how we at CPL join the dots on our clients’ behalf – always thinking strategically about the content we create for them.
There’s little point in producing great content – whether it’s a piece of copy, code, video, graphic design or advertising – if we aren’t clear about why we’re doing it in the first place.
We work very hard to understand our clients, their organisations and their audiences so we can be sure any content we create is fit for purpose.
At CPL, I am proud we have great people who can join the dots and advise clients at every stage of the process. This starts with their story and communications strategy and then includes creating compelling content; identifying the appropriate communication channels and then delivering it with measurable results.
The fact we’re running the campaign at all is an example of how, during 2018, we’re determined to put these elements into practice for ourselves.
For more than two decades we have been delivering effective strategic communications solutions. But we have done very little to shout about and promote our work – especially in and around our home city of Cambridge.
So the campaign is also joining the dots for CPL.
We employ more than 50 people with a wide range of disciplines under one roof, including digital developers, journalists, graphic designers, videographers and media sales experts.
With that talent at our disposal, we have a massive opportunity to deliver joined-up full-service content campaigns for organisations in and around a city which, according to a new UK Powerhouse study, has the fastest-growing economy in the UK.
CPL has been around since 1996 and, as well as the talent I mention above, we also boast some extensive experience and expertise.
When it comes to promoting ourselves in Cambridge and East Anglia, CPL has often tended to hide our light under a bushel. With this new campaign, we plan to join the dots and start letting more people know about how we can benefit their organisations.
