Latest CPL magazine website delivers strong initial results

The latest responsive website to be designed, developed and created by CPL is already delivering strong results.

In the first few weeks after the new version of cibsejournal.com went live, the number of mobile phone users accessing the site increased, while the average session duration shot up by 32% and the highest number of sessions in a single day went up by 25%.

The site complements the print version of CIBSE Journal, the monthly magazine for members of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, a professional body that supports the science, art and practice of building services engineering, providing information and education for the sector.

As a responsive website, it looks just as good on smartphones and tablets as it does on desktops – and we expect this functionality to be of great value to CIBSE members."

The site offers a home for a wealth of content relating to CIBSE Journal, including jobs, CPD assets, a technical section and a range of other resources.

Nicola Hurley, publishing co-ordinator for CIBSE, is delighted with the final result: “The new cibsejournal.com has a modern and engaging design with prominently displayed stories. It’s easy to navigate and has an improved search facility.

"As a responsive website, it looks just as good on smartphones and tablets as it does on desktops – and we expect this functionality to be of great value to CIBSE members.

“We are delighted with the way CPL delivered the new site on budget and on time as planned.”
