Major new membership client win for CPL

CPL has been appointed by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) to relaunch its members’ magazine and to design and build a new digital content hub.

The move follows a competitive tender process and reinforces CPL’s expertise in creating and delivering content strategies for membership organisations.

CIWM is the leading body for resource and waste management professionals, with more than 5,500 individual members. It supports its members to be successful in their roles by providing professional credibility, technical and career advice, information, training and networking. The magazine and the new content hub will launch in early 2019.

Sophie Hewitt-Jones, CPL director – client services, said: “We are really looking forward to working with the team at CIWM as they revamp their membership content strategy. CIWM and its members operate in an important, exciting and evolving sector and I’m confident that CPL’s expertise in membership communications will add practical and strategic value.”

Paul Sloggett, head of member engagement at CIWM, added: “We were impressed by CPL throughout the tender process and are pleased to have appointed them to launch our new suite of membership communications. We believe these new platforms will deliver greater value than ever to our members and help to enhance CIWM’s industry-leading voice.”
