Video: National Writing Day

It may be National Writing Day – an annual event designed to inspire people across the UK to put pen to paper – but, here at CPL, good writing is at the heart of everything we do. Every day.

The technology used to write has developed over the years, how we present what we write has changed too, but it’s still the words that matter most.

CPL was established by two senior broadsheet newspaper professionals in 1996. And more than 20 years later, we continue to be shaped and driven by those high journalistic standards.

Our team of skilled, specialist writers and editors craft compelling pieces to get people understanding and talking. Everyone has a story to tell and we aim to convey our clients’ messages in the best way possible and with just the right words.

If you need a magazine for your members or employees, blogs for your website or a social media campaign, we use our background as journalists to hone your messages, then communicate them. Our in-house editorial team gets under the skin of your audiences so that what we write resonates and holds attention.

But CPL also has a network of specialist journalists to call on for a specific brief: a long-form piece of industry analysis; a light-hearted interview; an in-depth report; news about your organisation; or people profiles.

Editorial has always been at the heart of what we do; it’s where we started more than 20 years ago. And we’re better at it now than ever.
