Triple awards shortlisting for CPL

Creative work by CPL has been shortlisted for three awards in this year’s Institute of Internal Communication North & Central awards.

Liza Young, CPL’s deputy editor of CIBSE Journal, the monthly magazine for the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers, has been shortlisted for best writing.

Her award entry is a fascinating account of the vast hidden infrastructure at the Palace of Westminster – which is to be transformed as part of the building’s multi-billion pound refurbishment.

CPL’s first graphic design and production project for Kier Group has been shortlisted for best design. Working to a tight deadline, the team came up with a creative design for Kier’s 2017 corporate responsibility report, called Responsible Business, Positive Outcomes.

Finally, an animated video conceived and created by the CPL video team to promote an employee engagement survey, is shortlisted in the best video category.

Managing director Mike Sewell commented: “These are three examples of some of the really fantastic work we have delivered for our clients over the past few months, and it’s great that they have been recognised in this way.”

The IoIC is an independent professional body, dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of internal communications. The awards ceremony will be held on 1 March in Leicester.
