The client

Arthritis Care is the UK's largest charity dedicated to supporting people with arthritis.

The challenge

CPL was briefed to create a new communications tool for the charity that would foster a sense of community among its members. This new quarterly magazine – Inspire, would be the main voice of Arthritis Care and a source of regular information on arthritis for readers.

The solution

CPL created a fresh design with a new look and feel. Members were presented with more lifestyle features in a positive and supportive tone of voice.

The editorial team worked hard to create a new content plan that would suit the target audience, as well as appealing to other members from different age groups and backgrounds.

Arthritis Care was so enthused by Inspire's success that CPL was asked to create a dedicated website to complement the magazine.

The optimised digital version of Inspire works on tablets, mobiles and online.
