Charity’s magazine gets new look thanks to CPL

The National Autistic Society’s quarterly magazine, Your Autism, has been relaunched with a new look – the first since CPL won a competitive tender process to redesign and manage its production.

The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for autistic people providing direct guidance and support to tens of thousands of people each year and running campaigns to change national policy and practice. Your Autism goes to the charity’s 22,000 members.

CPL’s creative team worked closely with the charity to create a modern, fresh and clean look that incorporated the charity’s new brand.

Autistic people often struggle with change and it was essential to manage expectations and create a magazine that was accessible and engaging, as well as modern and creative.

The contract win adds to CPL’s expertise in the charity membership sector. Other clients include Versus Arthritis and the National Childbirth Trust (NCT).

Gregory Cranness, National Autistic Society membership manager, is full of praise for Your Autism’s new look and feel. He said: “CPL was a great choice for the redesign of our magazine. We wanted to build on our new brand and create something that marked a fresh direction, while bringing along our existing audience. The company’s experience in the charity membership sector was invaluable and allowed us to work together to create a design that the charity and – most importantly - our members really like.”
