CPL has completed a new members’ area for Godolphin dedicated to the global horseracing team’s fan club.
The Club Godolphin section includes a specially created Fantasy Stable League competition, as well as a range of member benefits, other competitions and access to exclusive content.
CPL’s in-house design and development team created and built the microsite, including a bespoke game engine to support the competition. CPL worked to a tight turnaround – just 10 weeks from initial brief to going live.
Designed to scale as the competition grows, the Fantasy League is currently aimed at three groups of users: those in the UAE; Australia/New Zealand; and the rest of the world.
Within 10 weeks of launch, the Club homepage had received more than 140,000 views, and 6,000 new members had signed up. Of these, 60% are actively engaged in the Fantasy Stable League competition.

“As a result we have received excellent user and client feedback and the initial results are impressive. We will be rolling out further features and updates to the Fantasy Stable League and Club Godolphin site during 2017.”
CPL has worked with Godolphin’s breeding operation, Darley, since 2008, creating and delivering a range of global marketing and content services, including advert design, outdoor marketing, digital design and media buying.
