CPL shortlisted for Cambridge Business Excellence Awards

CPL is a finalist in the Employer of the Year category in this year’s Cambridge News & Media Business Excellence Awards.

This is the 25th year of the awards, which recognise and celebrate the region’s best business talent. Previous winners include well-known Cambridge businesses such as Bidwells, Cambridge Consultants, Cambscuisine, Mills and Reeve and Cambridge Building Society.

Founded in 1996, CPL has grown steadily over the past few years, significantly broadening the range of services and expertise it offers. 

Mike Sewell, managing director, says: “As we grow and evolve as a business, it’s important that we also develop our people, which is why our current strategy includes placing a lot of emphasis on recognising the great work done by our teams and setting clear objectives for them.

“We have plenty of room for improvement but our recent employee engagement satisfaction survey showed  some really encouraging results. Just taking part in the awards process is a good experience, so to be shortlisted is a real bonus.”

The Employer of the Year category is sponsored by Pure and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner at King’s College, Cambridge, on 22 March.
