Client wins

Titan Airways website takes off

Capturing the spirit of Titan Airways – the brand and its team – was the brief for an ambitious photoshoot at London Stansted on a grey November day.

The vibrant imagery of planes and people produced on that day sets the tone for a vastly reimagined website showcasing the work of this global bespoke air charter specialist.

CPL worked with Titan to create a new site that would mirror the reputation and celebrate the expertise of the business.

Matt Askham, head of digital at CPL, said: “We commissioned and art directed the photoshoots, designed and built the site and wrote the copy, working closely with the client team at Titan at every stage. It was an exciting project to work on and we’re proud of the final product.”

Once initial design concepts and wireframes were complete, brand guidelines for the visual identity and tone of voice were worked up. A full website design and build followed, with Wordpress selected as the host platform to enable the client to easily update the site once CPL had delivered the final product.

The new wireframe took into account the two audience groups that would be using the site: potential and existing corporate clients looking to see what Titan offers, and passengers booked on to a flight who need practical information, such as baggage allowances and travel advice.

The result is a sleek and accessible website, showcasing Titan’s expertise and experience in a stunning and professional way.

“Our new website reflects who we are and what we stand for. We enjoyed working with CPL on all aspects of the design, build and content of the site, and the great end result is a product of excellent collaboration between the teams,” said Alastair Willson, managing director of Titan Airways.

Based at London Stansted, Titan Airways is a world leader in bespoke air charter travel. In 2019, it operated almost 9,000 flights to 88 countries. Its clients include celebrities from the music and film industries, government officials, sports teams, tour operators, and air freight integrators.
